With the remastering of the Black Butte sub, of course we were going to make scenarios for it, this time they're being released seperatly from the route so we can get away with more requirements. Included are 4 scenarios, two northbounds and two southbounds, all set between 2013 and 2016. Each scenario is a full run of the route, which means the total playtime here is just over 13 hours.
1. Spirit of the Southern Pacific
On a mostly cloudy summer day, take southbound lumber drag MEURV southbound over the Black Butte District. Your train is a mile long running in a 2x2 formation, with the SP heritage unit on the headend. This train was the lowest prioirty southbound, which means you will be fighting northbound traffic for the main all the way to Dunsmuir. 210 minutes, medium.
2. Detoured
BNSF and UP both have routings between the central valley and Klamath Falls, OR, and with the BNSF line out of operation, BNSF trains are instead running on UP's Black Bute and Valley subs. You will be taking detoured empty grain train XFRSMNS northbound, against the standard heavy afternoon traffic and detours. 210 minutes, easy.
These last two are a loose set, they take place over one shift but are different trains. Best to play it in order though, theres callbacks and text tie-ins to the other part in each.
3. Switching Sides, Part 1
Take northbound manifest MRVPT northbound out of Dunsmuir just at the break of dawn. You've got a setout to make at Black Butte, but the lack of early morning westbound traffic means this will be an easy traffic, regardless of prioirty. 210 minutes, easyy
4, Switching Sides, Part 2
Now in Klamath Falls, return to Dunsmuir aboard the hottest southbound on the route ZBRLC. You've got a light train, plenty of power to make track speed on all but the steepest grades, and nothing in your way, so this should be an open throttle run to Dunsmuir. 180 minutes, easy.
Two of my previous scenarios, Foreign Beavers and Shasta Sunset Stack Train, work with the new version as well, but my original scenario dosen't for the moment, I'll try to patch it but no guarentees.
All four scenarios have AP Cloud Pack cloudscapes picked, and the first one uses the dynamic shadowing feature of the base pack. If you don't own one/either you will see the default skies.
The payware requirements and which part uses them are linked down below, all of the freeware is linked in the readme in a similar fashion, as is more detailed protoype information. The signalling issues were mostly resolved within the route, there are few false flags here and there but nothing super fatal.

I have all the required stock but its still showing invisble cars on both switching sides scenarios.
Pretty likely I missed something in the readme. I'll find time in a few hours to check.
