Hi all! This is my first ever scenario, and I hope you enjoy! If there's any issues, please let me know - by commenting, emailing me, or via Discord - just use the links in my profile on Train Sim Community!
This scenario is based on the allocations and schedule on 25/11/2025, using sightings and allocation data from Rail-Record. Where possible, AI trains have close to accurate formations, however, some of the real trains use the Class 334s, and there isn't a good pack for the Class 334s from what I've found, so these have been replaced by Class 318s or 320s.
This is the first part of two, where the second part will go from Crianlarich to Fort William, and shunt the wagons into the Alcan plant. I may in the future also make a scenario that preceeds this one, likely going from Millerhill towards Glasgow, but this depends on if I have the time and if a suitable route exists for that run.
Another reason I've split it into two is simply that the full Cowlairs West Junction to Fort William run would be around 6 hours of gameplay, and that would be a pain to test, and I also don't particularly want people to be playing it for 6 hours straight, go touch some grass between Part 1 and 2, or whatever is in fashion nowadays.
Requirements for this route are:
West Highland Line Full (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2355023456) and all of it's dependencies (WHL South and WHL Extension DLCs)
AP Signal EP (https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/signal_enhancement_pack)
AP Class 66 EP 2.0 Volume 1 (https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/class_66_enhancement_pack_2.0_vol_1) and it's dependencies
AP Class 156 Pack (https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/class_156_diesel_multiple_unit_pack) - used for AI trains
AP Class 318 Pack (https://www.armstrongpowerhouse.com/class_318_electric_multiple_unit_pack) - used for AI trains

RETB Signalling Plugin by On Track Simulations (https://ko-fi.com/s/b8388f4533) - this excellent plugin makes the process of driving on the west highland line all the more authentic
