New timetable for Antelope Valley, using the new Metrolink 2024 timetable. Notable changes included in this first release:

  1. Full Antelope Valley Timetable, includes all services playable that should be. An increase over the base game.
  2. Full Ventura Country Timetable playable up Burbank (2 stops) before they turn off.
  3. All Metrolink services that would stop at LA union throughout the day are present, although these are AI traffic going on/off the map.
  4. Full use of the Metrolink Depot, massively increased ammount of services that arrive there in the morning, and depart in the afternoon/evening.
  5. Ai controlled Freight services running between Lancaster and the Palmdale Cutoff.

Planned features in next version:

  1. More playable freight, currently there is just one playable freight service divided into two parts. There will be two more full line runs, and a local service run. They just require more investigation to fit into the timetable without delaying the passenger services.

Huge thanks to the following individuals for their help!

  • Kitkat - for testing as well as editor help.
  • Ml302 - for help with general metrolink operational knowledge as well as testing.
  • Blacknred81 - for help with the freight information such as symbols and consist composition.

Requirements

Sherman Hill is required for the Freight layers to show up.

Hey, I tried running AV 215 and 220 and I must say, this is pretty amazing, slight "heart attack moment" at the start aside (pic included) xD - that said, it isn't possible to start the timetable on foot, which I assume is the limitation of the editor? Otherwise this has been really enjoyable and no other issues have been encountered so far, well done!

Yep it's currently some weird issue that I have no idea what the cause is. It happens on both my timetables.
I've asked Joe from DTG (the timetable master), and he has no idea what it could be, as my settings match what they use.

Glad you are enjoying it!

I see, I see, that's really weird then. For me personally it's not a huge issue, I've just been used to spawning on foot some 5-10 min before departure, setting up weather and the like using God Mode, then setting up the train, especially the marker lights on the cab car because those don't turn on automatically when starting a service from the F125. I've got a workaround for this, just switching between cabs using hotkeys which makes it possible for me to manage all that within the 1 minute before departure but hoping you guys can somehow figure it out and make spawning on foot possible (I totally didn't spend about 10 minutes trying to find my train yesterday before figuring out that I'm actually on the old timetable xD)

I might be slow or something but how come it seems like lots of services for the F125 were added when it's about the same amount? I counted both timetables.

So the 2023 timetable had 11 services in each direction on the Antelope Valley Line, the 2024 timetable has 15.
So it's not a massive increase in playable services, but this timetable has a lot more AI services coming into LA union, so it's on the whole "busier" to drive on, and has slightly more playable services.

The default timetable also has 4 extra freight services I haven't added back in yet, and I think the default timetable breaks more of the services into Part 1, and Part 2.

Hii... I want to run the VC 105 from LA union to chatsworth but it only stops from la union to burbank. You know why?

Because the VC line on the map only extends up to Burbank. The rest of that route isn't modeled in game.

Does the file go into the DLC folder? I am not seeing any difference in game.
