Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr May 2025 24h Timetable [Beta]

This timetable represents the actual 24h timetable for the route in May 2025. There are some special features at this time, such as the reconstruction of Duisburg main station and the resulting closure of some platforms. This leads, for example, to frequent double occupancy of track 1. Timetable times and platform occupancy correspond to a Thursday in May 2025.

This mod is a beta release. Due to the high number of timetable runs, I need feedback from testers to gradually improve the timetable.

Features:

• Complete ICE traffic. Some ICEs start, end and shunt in Essen main station. (KWG ICE1, MAG ICE3, FTF ICET)
• Complete IC/EC traffic with BR101 expert and IC coaches
• Eurostar traffic (BR406 sub until we have Thalys coaches)
• Flixtrain FLX20 & FLX30 traffic with Flixtrain Vectron (Flixtrain DLC needed)
• S1, S2, S3, S6, S9 with BR422 (Included in base dlc)
• RB35 / RE44 / RE11 - Due to construction work in Duisburg main station and staff shortages, journeys on the route will be canceled in May 2025
• RE1 / RE2 / RE5 / RE6 / RE42 with BR146 & Dostos (FTF needed)
• RE3 / RE19 Flirt 1 (Luzern Surssee DLC needed)
• RE49 / RB32 / RB33 / RE41 / RB46 / RB40 / RE16DRA 442 (Flirt3 XL sub, DRA needed)
• RB31 & RB14 BR642 NWB (Lint sub, Maintalbahn DLC needed)
• Own station directory with additional pis destinations. All off route virtual destinations of all routes on the basis of original timetables.

Construction site duisburg main station

This timetable is set in May 2025, when some platforms at Duisburg Central Station will be closed due to construction work. To make these tracks look less empty, I created a scenery overlay for this timetable. You can download it here.

Freight

First freight servives were added with update v0.8 Beta . As the line is already overloaded with passenger traffic, in reality very few freight trains can be seen during the day. Freight and static traffic will then gradually be added with future updates.

Note: I started this timetable many weeks ago and didn't realize that a modern timetable for this route was already in the works by reddeviln. I think that both timetables are an enrichment for the variety of this game. Please also have a look at the timetable from reddeviln .
