It is not true to life as it uses the announcement system from the Thameslink Class 700, however it is the same announcer - Julie Berry who voices the 377s, it has also been edited to make it more realistic to southern Services. In V1.2.0 Mind the gap announcements are all Julie for Southern Services in V1.0.0 the mind the gap announcements are done by Matt Streeton
If people want me to replace mind the gap with Julie Berry's announcements from the 377, if there is enough demand I can do so, so let me know in the comments if that's something you'd like to see (hear).
this has been completed in V1.2.0
I have not included announcements for the shorter southern services, as this would add a bit of work. If people want me to do so let me know in the comments.
I am also working on a announcement pack for East Coastway Services (using the timetable from 2TallTyler)including announcements for 8 car sets where the platforms are too short for added realism. If this is something you'd like to see (hear) let me know.
The Virgin and LNWR services have been added, however these are a mix of official station announcements and non official transition statements - it is the best I can do without compromising audio quality severely.
I recommend using Metro Speak full edition as it has extra hotkey settings for the special announcements (spec) such as stopped at red light. Alternatively you can open multiple windows of the free edition and do the timetable in one and the special announcements in one instance per announcement. You can see how I've set up the full edition of metrospeak in the screenshots.
If you do not like the length of the announcements then I suggest grabbing a free utility called Audacity and editing them yourself, it is incredibly easy to use.
A big thank you to all the team that made the 2019 WCML Timetable mod, it's really nice and I have really enjoyed playing it.
Massive thanks to RailAnnouncements.co.uk for making this much easier. It took me around 9-10 hours with refinements, additions, and improvements to enhance realism and usability.
