TSW5 UK Content Ballast Enhancement Pack

This pack aims to improve the look of British content that use the default 'Coal' covered texture that is used on many UK routes which looks really awful and most of the time is completely inaccurate for the region & condition of the real railway lines they're based on.

To fix this, I have created a new set of ballast shades from scratch to represent various regions of the UK rail network.

These include:

• Weathered/oxidized brown/pink shade (for a mixture of different railway lines
• Modern light grey shade (for busier metro & high speed railway lines (also acts as freshly laid ballast during a recent track renewal))
• Medium grey shade (for more traditional double track commuter as well as branch lines)
• Legacy only Brown & dark grey shades (for a mix of both Steam & Diesel British Rail era routes as well as some modern image commuter lines)

Included are some before & after .GIFs from both GOBLIN & WCMLS to give you a clear idea of just how substantial the changes are as well as some general screenshots.

Standard Routes currently supported:

• East Coast Main Line: Peterborough - Doncaster
• London Overground Suffragette line: Gospel Oak - Barking Riverside
• West Coast Main Line: London Euston - Milton Keynes

As time goes on the list above will be gradually updated to support new British content that is released in the future

Legacy route support:
For routes that do not utilise textures from the "UK Content" folder, and instead use the older referencing method (where each one has it's own set of specific ballast textures)

• West Coast Main Line: Preston - Carlisle
• Blackpool Branches: Preston - Blackpool & Ormskirk
• Tees Valley Line: Darlington - Saltburn by-the-sea
• Northern Trans-Pennine: Manchester - Leeds
• East Coastway: Brighton - Eastbourne & Seaford
• Spirit of Steam: Liverpool Lime Street - Crewe
• Peak Forest Railway: Ambergate - Chinley & Buxton
• Glossop Line: Manchester - Hadfield & Glossop

My ballast textures have been designed to work with .ini tweaks, therefore, it's strongly recommended that you use one of JetWash's settings to get the most out of my packs.

Installation Instructions

To install, simply drag & drop the .pak file into your TSW "DLC" folder.
