Frankfurt - Fulda: DB / Railpool Vectron on Regional Services

Nowadays Vectrons by MRCE / Beacon Rail run part of the RE 50 and RB 51 services between Frankfurt and Fulda. With these mods you can put the Vectron on the services yourself. You can choose either the DB Vectron included in the Kinzigtalbahn or the standalone Railpool Vectron. They let the respective Vectron versions substitute on all RE and RB services with Dostos on Frankfurt - Fulda. You will also see them on AI services. You can use both versions of the mod simultaneously.

The mods also increase the substitution probability for the respective Vectrons from 0.1 to 0.2.

Limitations and Known Issues

• the Vectron will also appear on RE 54 and 55 services although that's not prototypical
• the Vectron always opens the doors on the right side on starting up a service
• when you drive from the cab car there are two caveats:
  • you have to switch on the marker lights manually in the Vectron in the back (for this you need to enable the driving desk before and disable it afterwards)
  • you get Driver Assist messages that you should raise the pantograph and engage the circuit braker, you can ignore these messages, it works fine
