This soundmod is a rebuilt version of ItsYa165's Fun Sounds - DB BR 423 IGBT Sound, made TSW4 compatible and added those sounds to the Cologne-Aachen BR 423 (from the New Journeys Expansion packs). There are also versions which only changes the horn, so it isn't the overused "default" horn that is being used on a lot of older german trains.
Thanks to ItsYa165 for giving permission to use his sounds, and for making them back then in the first place.
I know, the sound's are not realistic and accurate to the irl IGBT sounds, but hey, atleast I personally liked them.
Full list of features and changelog of what's different to the old version of this mod for better understanding:
- made the mod TSW4 compatible
- added the sounds to the Cologne-Aachen variant of the 423
- added more reverb to the horn end sound
- added mod versions for both 423 variants which only include the new horn sound, for people who do not want the new traction motor sound (maybe because they are not realistic ugly).

Installation Instructions
Move your mod in the DLC folder under the following approximated path:
steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC
To uninstall, simply delete the file/s from your DLC folder.

Hello, I was wondering if someone could maybe do a BR423 GTO Soundmod for TSW4. It already exists for TS Classic so why not TSW? (btw this mod here is also very niceley done!)
I might consider making an accurate sound mod for both the IGBT variant and also the GTO variant of the BR423.

Ist auch wie gesagt nicht realistisch und eher nur ein rein fiktionaler Sound. Es kann aber gut möglich sein, dass wir uns evtl. später irgendwann mal um eine richtige 423 Soundmod kümmern mit besseren GTO und IGBT Sounds, sofern gute Tonaufnahmen zu finden sind und wir diese benutzen dürfen ;)
