Hello, and thank you for downloading my pack.

The stock DTM units are frankly speaking, not the best. I hope this pack makes them more enjoyable for you to run!

List of changes (v1):

• Exterior and Interior engine audio aliased to CentralJerseyRailfan's 16cyl567 Pack
• Truck audio aliased to CentralJerseyRailfan's 16cyl567 Pack
• Brand new throttle and brake sounds recorded from CB&Q E5 #9911A during my cab ride
• Throttle sounds are now permanently assigned to a notch, as opposed to being randomly played whenever the throttle handle moves
• Brakes no longer make the weird clicky noise when going between zones
• Brand new Leslie A200, Nathan M3, and Nathan M5 provided courtesy of UTS Creations (Thank you!!!)
• Bell sounds aliased to CentralJerseyRailfan's 16cyl567 Pack
• Physics corrected for a smoother and more realistic traction motor load up
• Passenger and Freight physics sets
• Fuel tank capacity set to prototypical 1,200 gallons (by default it was a weird value of 2,664 gallons)
• Two consists included for a prototypical California Zephyr (D&RGW and WP versions)

OPTIONAL CHANGES:

Trucks: Truck running, joint, squeal, etc sounds can be changed between the ones included with CentralJerseyRailfan's 567 EP (free) or Searchlight Simulations' EMD 645E pack (payware). I prefer the latter option
but for those who don't own it, the CJR one is still an upgrade. To change the sounds, go to DTM/UP F3/Audio/Diesel/Bogies, then into the folder of your choice. COPY the two files (Boguie.proxybin and
Boguie.proxyxml) and PASTE into DTM/UP F3/Audio/Diesel. That's it. Just make sure you copy/paste, not cut/paste because then the files won't be there if you want to switch again.

Physics: You can now switch between frieght and passenger physics. The freight version has a maximum speed of 65 miles an hour (62:15 gear ratio) and the passenger version has an 103 mph top speed (56:21 ratio).
Dynamic brake and traction motor power curves have been adjusted accordingly for the passenger version but are still a work in progress. Hauling a prototypical California Zephyr on a 0.0% flat grade with three
F3s, I got up to 84 miles an hour. From various books and other sources, this is pretty accurate, but if you think it isn't, please leave a comment and maybe I'll change it. To change between physics sets, go to
DTM/UP F3/RailVehicles/Diesel/Simulation. Then select the version you want from the respective folder, and copy it into the Simulation folder. That's it.

Future plans:

• Make seperate passenger and freight units with the respective air pressures, physics, horns, etc
• Lighting
• Exhaust maybe??

Installation Instructions

INSTALLATION:

1. Install all prerequisite items
2. Drag/drop all included files to your Railworks folder
3. Change truck audio and frieght/passenger physics if desired
4. Run Railworks to check install.
