A quick mod based on a barrier vehicle/translator coach that adds some variants of the Habbiins wagon from S-Bahn Vorarlberg with various couplers. They should appear in the free roam menu as 'Translator (Habbiins)'. Each one has a different back coupler:
Habbiins (BSI)
- Uses the coupler model from Class 142 (Blackpool Branches).
- Can couple to Class 142, 158, 170, modded version of 150 and 166.
Habbiins (Buckeye)
- Can couple to most things with Buckeye coupler.
Habbiins (Dellner)
- Uses the coupler model from BR442 (Kassel - Würzburg).
- Can couple to Class 375, 377, 387, 700, 710, ROG 37/7.
Habbiins (Tightlock)
- Can couple to Class 313, 314, 465, modded version of 323.
Habbiins (Scharfenberg)
- Uses the coupler model from BR442 (Kassel - Würzburg).
- Can couple to Class 395, most German EMU's, ÖBB 4024, modded version of TGV and Class 801.
Habbiins (Scharfenberg - ICE 1)
- Uses the coupler model from BR442 (Kassel - Würzburg).
- Can couple to modded version of ICE 1. It won't couple to the stock version.
Habbiins (WABCO N-Type)
- Uses coupler model from M7 (Long Island Rail Road).
- Can couple to M3, M3A, M7, M7A.
Habbiins (Wedglock)
- Uses the coupler model from 1972 Stock (Bakerloo Line).
- Can couple to 1938 Stock, 1972 Stock.
Changelog
- 2024/04/25 - Fixed sounds, added Wedglock variant, split each variant into separate .pak files so you can choose which ones you want. If you are using the old version, delete TranslatorCoaches_DE.pak and CouplerMod_ICE1.pak, or they will show up in the menu twice.
- 2024/02/08 - Changed to use the Habbiins from S-Bahn Vorarlberg, added uncouple prompt.
- 2024/01/20 - First release.
Notes
- You may need to enter the cab and release the brakes on any train being dragged, I don't know how to get it to work automatically.
- The Habbiins wagon hasn't been remodelled or retextured, I have just swapped the back coupler.
- Currently doesn't work with formation designer.
Bugs
- Some of the coupler animations don't work properly.
- The 'Habbiins (Scharfenberg - ICE 1)' can couple to the ICE 1 even if the coupler hatch is closed.

- Kann mit einer modifizierten Version von [ICE 1] gekoppelt werden (https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c110-pc-editor-creations/i4621- Coupler-mod-ice-1) . Es lässt sich nicht mit der Standardversion koppeln.
Habbiine (WABCO N-Typ)
- Verwendet Kupplungsmodell von M7 (Long Island Rail Road).
- Kann mit M3, M3A, M7, M7A gekoppelt werden.
Habbiins (Wedglock)
- Verwendet das Kupplungsmodell aus dem Baujahr 1972 (Bakerloo Line).
- Kann mit Lagerbestand von 1938 und Bestand von 1972 gekoppelt werden.
Änderungsprotokoll
- 2024/04/25 - Sounds korrigiert, Wedglock-Variante hinzugefügt, jede Variante in separate .pak-Dateien aufgeteilt, sodass Sie auswählen können, welche Sie möchten. Wenn Sie die alte Version verwenden, löschen Sie TranslatorCoaches_DE.pak und CouplerMod_ICE1.pak, da sie sonst zweimal im Menü angezeigt werden.

Anmerkungen
- Möglicherweise müssen Sie bei jedem gezogenen Zug in den Führerstand einsteigen und die Bremsen lösen. Ich weiß nicht, wie ich das automatisch zum Laufen bringen kann.
- Der Habbiins-Wagen wurde nicht umgebaut oder neu strukturiert, ich habe nur die hintere Kupplung ausgetauscht.
- Funktioniert derzeit nicht mit Formationsdesigner.
Fehler
- Einige der Koppler-Animationen funktionieren nicht richtig.
- Die „Habbiins (Scharfenberg – ICE 1)“ können auch bei geschlossener Kupplungsluke an den ICE 1 ankuppeln.

Installation Instructions
Open MJKCP_Translator_Habbiins.zip, put whichever .pak files you want in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC' folder (modify path as appropriate)

Hello, I noticed when using the Habbiin for the ICE 1 that it crashes when loading a save game, TSW4
It might have been the recent update that changed something, when I get my editor to cook files again I can see if there is anything I can do to fix it
Awesome coupler mods. Wondered if youd be able to do a Mk2a from NPT or the dual braked Mk1BG from NTP. Dont have blackpool branches :(
Also using your method to add new RVDs with your mods, would it be possible to make the GWE Hst Mk3 coaches available in free roam as individual coaches/just as a set without power cars?
I can work on a NTP version, shouldn't take too long
For the Mk3 coaches, the formation editor beta should be releasing in next few days which will hopefully allow creating a formation of only Mk3 coaches. If it doesn't I can make a mod to spawn the power car and individual coaches separately
Yo would be cool if you could do the same couplers to the BR101 since that is a main towing locomotive being used in germany. Meaning you do not neccesarryly have to use the Habiins for it
I think this mod (https://www.trainsimcommunity.com/mods/c3-train-sim-world/c19-patches/i3441-db-br-101-enhancementexpansion-pack-tsw4-compatible) already has a BR101 that can couple to ICE 1 and ICE 3, although If I get my editor to start working again I could make more variants with different couplers
Can you make the same for the Vectron
Back after a bit of a break, working on a coupler mod for the Vectron and then the BR101. The Vectron version should be finished in a few days unless there are any unexpected issues
any chance of a tutorial how you do these coupler mods? would love to play around with some, maybe help you get some of the requests in the comments made! off work sick so got loads of spare time haha
Hey, the MTB 642 doesn't work to couple to this. Any reasons why?
I think the 642 by default can only couple to itself. If I get Maintalbahn in a sale I will try to make a variant that couples properly
the Habbiins unfortunately don't have any sounds. no rolling, no flange badumps, nothing. can this be fixed?
Happening for me too, although I am not sure why, it is just set as a child of the Vorarlberg Habbiins which seems to work fine. I will have a look and see if I can find the problem
I think I have found the problem, if there aren't any other problems a fixed version should be uploaded in next few days
