Southern Pacific (SP) was once a large Class I railway in Western America from 1865 to 1996, when it got merged into the UP.
SP has a massive amount of subsidury railways with some actually sharing the livery design with small adjustment, such as St. Louis Southwestern Railway (SSW) who also known as Cotton Belt.
This livery was the 9th official diesel locomotive livery of SP named as 'Blood(y) Nose'. It was (in my opinion) a big improvement from previous liveries such as 'Halloween' livery that only has a solid orange at both short and long hood end or 'Golden State' that was a bit too shiny in my eyes.
The 'Bloody Nose' feature a red nose but instead of solid red, it has two line on each side to give a more dynamic look.
The colour code was based on AC4400CW Southern Pacific Speed Lettering from Private Miller
