Extensive Traction Recordings
- A total of 13 individually sampled traction motor whines and roars capture the likes of the train down to as much as every 2mph

New Train Ambience and Mixes

Phenomial! Just one issue seems to be that there are no door opening sounds
There are.
.
I've tested it myself so I'm not sure what you want me to do about it
Greatly appreciate your efforts on the 1972 stock sound pack, track tunnel clatter/flange sounds on point! Just to echo one others feedback that there seems to be no door opening sound - closing yes. The motor sound also seems lost in the mix once above 15-20mph? Aside from that it is an awesome improvement and greatly appreciate your efforts.
Really great update, thank you. Clearly a lot of extra work has gone in and it is really appreciated. The extra recordings and new mix truly recreate the immersion and atmosphere driving or riding as a passenger that was non existant in the original route.
Arigato
:) Only thing I have noticed as I have been playing this a ton since your updates - is there some talking on one of the new loops? Think it is on the 72 stock idle 'motor cooling/fan?' sound when the train is stationary - I don't mean the compressor. Not sure 'fan' describes the sound well but its the idle sound that really makes it feel like a 72 stock so it is great to have it finally as the original train was far too quiet.
No problem, I'll have it fixed.
The flange squeal in the tunnels is absolutely glorious and makes me want to drive the BKL more often and for TSW to have other subway lines.
I tried to make my recordings play as realistically loud as possible because it's so loud on the Underground. Don't let anyone tell you the Tube is quieter.
how do you make these. and is there a way of making my liveries into a .pak file, thx.
Are these available to use on the Epic Games version? If so How do i install it?
Just throw them into (whicheverdriveyouhaveEpicinstalled):\Epic\TrainSimWorld2\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC
when is the 4.26 bakerloo line sound mod update gonna be out
Is there a way to turn down the volume of the door closing sound? I could nearly get a heart attack by how loud and unexpected the sound could be, compared to much more regular sounds. Otherwise the sound mod is amazing.
I'm not turning it down
Lol
First of all, this is an amazing sound mod, really gives the feel of being in a (very realistic) screechy underground train. I would love to see a variant of the mod without the "stand clear of the doors" announcement. This is because I use an external program to "inject" announcements, and unfortunately I cannot remove that sound from said program.
Thanks for creating this mod!
Which one do you use please? Feel free to message me if thats possible here (still newish) id love to learn how to use the external programs
That announcement has been taken out now
Oh wow, you use a program for announcements? I'd love to know which one you use. At the moment I manually play them with Soundpad, but I'm really excited to see what you use.
I haven't got a DLC folder, does it work the same if I make one?
Yes
You know what would be cool? Having these sounds on the 1938 stock. (Maybe minus the door closing sound, but either way).
Again, fantastic work. I have noticed that the whistle when blown in the tunnel has a very strange and long reverb. Perhaps it's something you could look at?
Not really. Tbh it is legit a tunnel. A very small, enclosed, hot, dark stone tunnel... it's bound to echo a lot.
No I get that - id just expect a shorter, dryer tail as like you said, the tunnel is small and narrow and as you are firing forward down a tube the amount of reverberation reflecting back to the cab is less. The current reverb sounds too wet and big as if you are blowing the whistle in a cathedral - especially as you can hear the reverb clearly over the top of the running sounds.
Does this update only apply for the new expansion pack?
Basically
Very good job !
Can you make the wipers in CTC-3 Cab Car sound quiet?
Wow!!!, Wow, and wow!!!! Im a no Hud driver and you raised the immersion on a new level with your brilliant sound mod. Nice work, i can immagine there was a lot of time going into creating this.
DTG seems to be on a pretty sloppy course at the moment. Not even flange sounds find their way into dlcs since rush hour.
Keep up the good work.
Semi works on the New Journeys 72 stock
I've just played it now. What isn't working?
Is it possible to add the curve squeaking sounds to the 1938 stock as well?
Because it's very silent at the moment.
I don't own it, sorry
when are you gonna update this
E
May be now a possibility?
Cause the 1938's sound is very silent.
I still don't own it
Alright.
Btw, the sound mod is amazing, the only thing that I feel is missing tho ist that clacking sound, do all units have that clacking or is it just faulty maintenance?
when is this gonna get updated for train sim world 3
Yes
are we gonna get a full announcements update soon?
No
doesnt work with tsw 3?
✅
Incredible work! Personally just needs a tad more clacking/chaos when running on a straight peice of track, its a lil' bit quiet, then this will be absolutley perfect
Yeah the gears sounds are missing
This a plan for the future?
Yeah it's really easy to add, it'll go in with the door alarm fix
Awesome!
Thank you for version 20, it really boosts the immersion!
One thing to point out, the interior motor noises are a bit quiet.
Those tweaks have been put in the proper way now
Actually not bad, a little choppy and can hear the cuts in places but not often... Would be nice to get just a little bit more volume on the door closing sounds but otherwise a solid mod.
This mod is absolutely amazing; a big step in audio complexity from the original
This mod is defo not not choppy. A perfect amalgamation of sounds and recordings.
Excellent mod merci pour votre travail
I MUST say, that this mod has become a lot better with the last update. It has become even more awesome! Thank you!
Is this mod compatible with TSW4?
No
any plans to port it over?
No plans for much at the minute
Oh alright!
just tried this on TSW 4 (which is the first TSW i have owned), placed into the correct folder but it makes the stock disappear from the menu and route. when i delete the .PAK, they return. any chance you could update the pack to work on TSW 4 please? i only just bought the Bakerloo not 12 hours ago, done a couple hours driving on it and already triggered.... id love to have this. much better than the default...
thank you
I believe there are some mod restrictions for TSW4 so importing it will be hard but I don't know.
outrageous.... well, hopefully the maker can get it working in the new version, fingers crossed
yeah let's hope!
sticking to TSW3 till it gets (hopefully) imported
i dont have TSW3, and i suspect TSW4 will be the first and only one i buy, as i had intended to only buy TSW when multiplayer was added, but thats not happening... couple friends made me buy it lol. still, hopefully this mod sees an update to work for it
Fair enough, yeah I don't even have a clue why TSW3 mods are not compatible. Never had a problem with TSW2 to TSW3 so it's weird yeah.
Because of the addon manager. It's meant that mods essentially may not get read into the game unless they're deamed relavent to the route you're playing. DTG is working on a solution/instructions because it would also hinder other UGC.
Until there's a definite solution for this, I will hold off on the mods. I'd rather not waste my time with trial and error. Right now there's been a few community workarounds, but I'd rather wait for professional input if it's been promised.
sounds good. thanks for the reply and also thanks for not throwing this mod away. looking forward to driving with it, hopefully sooner rather than later :)
Hiya, are there any possibilities of adding the cam-shaft pop sound (Where the train is in power and a pop is created)
Additionally, if there are to be any cab sound modifications I am able to provide some, such as the clicking of the TBC into each position, new cab door sounds and whistles.
Maybe you could take it from the 313 and modify it a bit
I've got more than enough recordings of the 72TS. Real camshaft recordings are already put in this mod, but the pop has to be scripted separately. And right now there's not a lot I know to get that done, and TSW4 ain't behaving itself much regarding the addons manager.
Fair enough.
Thanks for bringing this to TSW4!!!
Will there be an Mk1 version?
Why?
thank you so much for getting this in TSW4. for 2 days ive been doing a stupid amount of driving on the Baker, and i cant get enough of it. thank you for making this, it transforms the stock immensely
Thanks for your work. Tested on TSW4 - the audio has an abrupt loop cut (becomes repetitive and fatigue-inducing after a few mins) when the train is moving forward (all accelerator notches) in FORWARD 2 mode (FORWARD 1 seems to be ok, smooth transitions and no abrupt loop cuts).
Make an unlisted YouTube video because I don't quite get it
Steps to reproduce :
1- Load any 1972 Tube Stock route
2- Start train, take off using FORWARD 2 (reverser lever)
3- Let it drive a few hundred feet to hear the engine sound audibly looping. It sounds like a soft click, as the audio loops on itself.
If you are driving using reverser on FORWARD 1, the issue does not occur.
Well I can fix this but it doesn't sound like a priority
It looks like there's a non stop air hissing sound happening the minute you move the power/brake handle away from "Shutdown" position. Wondering if anyone has got this happening? Not sure if it's to do with the latest version of this mod?
That's the safety system for the 1972 stock. This is pretty standard stuff if you've played the tutorial. The tutorial teaches you how it works - nothing to do with the mod
You have to put the TBC (traction brake controller or just the controller) to ''Off and Release'' and press the ''Audible Warning Reset'' button. That's a warning system on these trains.
Or you could press Q when you go into Off and Release.
I noticed yesterday that the Mk2 Tube Stock was absent from my TSW4 game. I still had the Bakerloo line, but only available on foot. Loading a scenario gets stuck on the loading screen. I verified the integrity of the game with Steam, to no effect. I remembered the mod, and when I remove it from the TS2Prototype\Content\DLC folder the Mk2 Tube Stock is back in the game. Anyone else has this? I used it a few days ago with no issue.
The add-on manager is trash
Pls can you update this to be compatible with the new Wcml route if possible?
Done.
Well done to ItsYa165 for doing this so quickly, you've made this instantly a million times better and it was already a great sound pack for the old Bakerloo DLC.
Hey Great. Thanks a lot for for the speedy delivery ! All the Best
Denis (France)
I noticed they did a poor job of Timetable to the LU 72 Stock in WCML South. Trains don't run often, and passengers don't get on the train at all at the station ... there are two carriages full of passengers that don't get off the train either. This is one of the bugs noticed.
Just from personal choice I kinda miss one of the old versions of this mod which had the 'please mind the closing doors' sounds also, in the tunnels especially everything just sounded more loud, more flange and more 'Rattly', and I feel the newer versions of the mod have lost this feeling, although still miles better than the stock sounds.
Don't worry, it was changed for a good reason but it will change again in light of recent developments.
oh really interesting?!? I couldn't put my finger on what it was specifically
yeah I agree with the what CrAzZyKiLLa said the mod years ago i felt was more realistic but hopefully a new mod can make the bakerloo line even better. the idle sounds from the video below and the doors. even the running i feel sound more realistic. :) and maybe the points i feel could be better otherwise gret job. https://youtu.be/dAXUn1-S2DU?si=LQsK1I64fUKCY5h9
This mod is objectively superior to the old one in every way.
Fair enough. I mean still a great job of course don't get me wrong. Most of the sounds in the mod are much better yes but I feel a couple are a little more accurate and louder in the older one .
Is this only for Bakerloo Line? Does it change anything in other sessions or can even harm??
All 72 stocks
Zero harm
72 Add-ons (DLC) ??? or what is 72 ? I translated it as PROMOTIONS
"Requirements
You need to own either:
The Bakerloo Line
New Journey's LUL 1972 Tube Stock Mk2
West Coast Main Line South"
Are you planning to do a new update for the bakerloo line at some point? :)

The sounds are very nice but I noticed that the ads change too. the ads changed are really bad, like "milescot" or "fc ronald's". Is it possible to download the mod with sound only without changing the advertisements?
Perhaps
how?
When I make changes to the pack
