Extensive Traction Recordings

- Additional third rail contact shoe clips reproduce the clang against the power rails
New Train Ambience and Mixes

Phenomial! Just one issue seems to be that there are no door opening sounds
There are.
.
I've tested it myself so I'm not sure what you want me to do about it
Greatly appreciate your efforts on the 1972 stock sound pack, track tunnel clatter/flange sounds on point! Just to echo one others feedback that there seems to be no door opening sound - closing yes. The motor sound also seems lost in the mix once above 15-20mph? Aside from that it is an awesome improvement and greatly appreciate your efforts.
Really great update, thank you. Clearly a lot of extra work has gone in and it is really appreciated. The extra recordings and new mix truly recreate the immersion and atmosphere driving or riding as a passenger that was non existant in the original route.
Arigato
:) Only thing I have noticed as I have been playing this a ton since your updates - is there some talking on one of the new loops? Think it is on the 72 stock idle 'motor cooling/fan?' sound when the train is stationary - I don't mean the compressor. Not sure 'fan' describes the sound well but its the idle sound that really makes it feel like a 72 stock so it is great to have it finally as the original train was far too quiet.
No problem, I'll have it fixed.
The flange squeal in the tunnels is absolutely glorious and makes me want to drive the BKL more often and for TSW to have other subway lines.
I tried to make my recordings play as realistically loud as possible because it's so loud on the Underground. Don't let anyone tell you the Tube is quieter.
how do you make these. and is there a way of making my liveries into a .pak file, thx.
Are these available to use on the Epic Games version? If so How do i install it?
Just throw them into (whicheverdriveyouhaveEpicinstalled):\Epic\TrainSimWorld2\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC
when is the 4.26 bakerloo line sound mod update gonna be out
Is there a way to turn down the volume of the door closing sound? I could nearly get a heart attack by how loud and unexpected the sound could be, compared to much more regular sounds. Otherwise the sound mod is amazing.
I'm not turning it down
First of all, this is an amazing sound mod, really gives the feel of being in a (very realistic) screechy underground train. I would love to see a variant of the mod without the "stand clear of the doors" announcement. This is because I use an external program to "inject" announcements, and unfortunately I cannot remove that sound from said program.
Thanks for creating this mod!
Which one do you use please? Feel free to message me if thats possible here (still newish) id love to learn how to use the external programs
That announcement has been taken out now
Oh wow, you use a program for announcements? I'd love to know which one you use. At the moment I manually play them with Soundpad, but I'm really excited to see what you use.
I haven't got a DLC folder, does it work the same if I make one?
Yes
You know what would be cool? Having these sounds on the 1938 stock. (Maybe minus the door closing sound, but either way).
Again, fantastic work. I have noticed that the whistle when blown in the tunnel has a very strange and long reverb. Perhaps it's something you could look at?
Not really. Tbh it is legit a tunnel. A very small, enclosed, hot, dark stone tunnel... it's bound to echo a lot.
No I get that - id just expect a shorter, dryer tail as like you said, the tunnel is small and narrow and as you are firing forward down a tube the amount of reverberation reflecting back to the cab is less. The current reverb sounds too wet and big as if you are blowing the whistle in a cathedral - especially as you can hear the reverb clearly over the top of the running sounds.
Does this update only apply for the new expansion pack?
Basically
Very good job !
Can you make the wipers in CTC-3 Cab Car sound quiet?
Wow!!!, Wow, and wow!!!! Im a no Hud driver and you raised the immersion on a new level with your brilliant sound mod. Nice work, i can immagine there was a lot of time going into creating this.
DTG seems to be on a pretty sloppy course at the moment. Not even flange sounds find their way into dlcs since rush hour.
Keep up the good work.
Semi works on the New Journeys 72 stock
I've just played it now. What isn't working?
Is it possible to add the curve squeaking sounds to the 1938 stock as well?
Because it's very silent at the moment.
I don't own it, sorry
when are you gonna update this
E
May be now a possibility?
Cause the 1938's sound is very silent.
I still don't own it
Alright.
Btw, the sound mod is amazing, the only thing that I feel is missing tho ist that clacking sound, do all units have that clacking or is it just faulty maintenance?
when is this gonna get updated for train sim world 3
Yes
are we gonna get a full announcements update soon?
No
doesnt work with tsw 3?
✅
Incredible work! Personally just needs a tad more clacking/chaos when running on a straight peice of track, its a lil' bit quiet, then this will be absolutley perfect
Yeah the gears sounds are missing
This a plan for the future?
Yeah it's really easy to add, it'll go in with the door alarm fix
Awesome!
Thank you for version 20, it really boosts the immersion!
One thing to point out, the interior motor noises are a bit quiet.
Those tweaks have been put in the proper way now
Actually not bad, a little choppy and can hear the cuts in places but not often... Would be nice to get just a little bit more volume on the door closing sounds but otherwise a solid mod.
This mod is absolutely amazing; a big step in audio complexity from the original
This mod is defo not not choppy. A perfect amalgamation of sounds and recordings.
Excellent mod merci pour votre travail

The sounds are very nice but I noticed that the ads change too. the ads changed are really bad, like "milescot" or "fc ronald's". Is it possible to download the mod with sound only without changing the advertisements?
Perhaps
how?
When I make changes to the pack
