Class 395 Better PIS

Ever since it was (re-)released for TSW3, the PIS on the Class 395 has been plagued by a selection of different small issue that amount up to an overall unconvinving and buggy implementation. With this mod, a large amount of these issues have been fixed and bundled with some other minor improvements to make the PIS on the Class 395 more realistic.

The two most significant fixes are a change to the display setup for the Driving Coaches meaning the text on them will now no longer randomly cut off while scrolling through and removing the rogue Comma in the service information text before the "and". Alongside this, the text on the side has been redone from scratch using real world references to make it as accurate as possible. This includes removing the "The next station is" segment and adjusting some of the overall phrasing.

The default version of the mod does not change the PIS colour, however a second version is also available which includes the orange PIS changes courtesy of Laika to ensure the two mods remain compatible, these can be held apart by the "DefaultYellow" and "Orange" suffixes in the file name. The TSW4 suffix indicates that the pak includes the bodge fix to make it work in TSW4, the other versions will not work in TSW4.

• Rewrites the service information text displayed on the side and interior displays to be more appropriate to real life
• Deletes the "The next station is X" segment of the side/interior displays
• Removes the incorrect Comma before the "and" at the end of the service information
• Fixes an issue where the text would cut off on the PIS on the Driving Coaches

!!!Aran+Laika-Class395-BetterPIS-Orange:

• All of the above
• Changes the colour of the PIS screens from Yellow to Orange

Installation Instructions

Download the .pak file of your choice and move it into TSW's DLC directory, this is usually located here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World 4\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC"
